SUMMER

During the summer, especially from July onwards, the absence of snow allows you to safely explore every corner of the Alps, while the Refuges offer comfort and support along the hikes.

Summer is the ideal time to undertake hikes in the Alps: especially from August onwards, the snow retreats, leaving room to explore every corner of these mountains in safety. The alpine refuges, usually open from the first weekend of June until mid-September, offer support and refreshment to visitors, making the experience even more pleasant.

Summer is characterized by long, sunny days, which allow you to dedicate more time to exploring the breathtaking landscapes and discovering the Alpine flora and fauna. Thanks to the milder temperatures, hikers can tackle more challenging trails and reach scenic peaks without worrying about climate-related difficulties.

Furthermore, summer offers numerous opportunities to participate in events and activities organized in Alpine locations, such as festivals, concerts and markets, further enriching the mountain experience.
